1 Year Photos

(Remember you can click the collage to make it bigger)
Parker's 1 Year photos turned out super cute. We put a hat on him in most of the photos so the weird spots on his head would not show....they look like bald spots but his hair is just a different color there. We even got Rayden is a few shots and Parker got mad about how the photographer posed them together at first, so she had Rayden kiss him! She then put Rayden under the ladder and him standing up with it and that worked well. The pictures of him in the red outfit are my favorite!

Ampa and Grandma Visit

Grandpa Larry (or Ampa as Rayden used to say) and Grandma Becky came down this past weekend to visit with the kids. The kids were all excited to see them and had a great time playing with them all evening. We had a great visit and a yummy dinner (thank you Renee!). We will see you all again soon!

A Good Time

Here are a few shots of the kids having a great time at Uncle Bryan's and Auntie Renee's house while waiting for Ampa and Grandma to show up. The kids had a good time playing with trains, the girls had a fantastic time playing on Rayna's "Hippity hop" and Bryan and Renee tried talking Parker into walking!

A Few Gifts

Ampa and Grandma brought a few gifts with them that were for Christmas and a few for Parker for his birthday. Parker just loves his little fish tank that he got and he plays with it all the time. He actually tried to open one of his own presents there and proptly put the piece of paper that he had torn off into his mouth!

More Family Fun

The night with the family continued with more fun! We had some ice cream sandwiches for dessert and then all sat around and enjoyed each others company while the kids played. Everyone played "balloon tag" as Rayden named it (hitting the balloon around the living room), there were horsey rides to be had and toys to be played with. We all had a fabulous time but we had to get going home. Rayden got super upset and really wanted to stay. We finally got her out of the house to head home (her crying the whole way out the door.) In the car she said she just wanted to stay the night and she could wear some of Rayna's jammies, I told her that Rayna's jammies were too big for her which got me this answer "but she is 3 years old too!!!" I had to explain to her that Rayna is just bigger than her and wears a different size and maybe she could stay another time and bring her own P.J's. Soon after she fell asleep and was out for the rest of the trip back home. We had a wonderful visit, thank you for having us over guys and thanks for coming down to visit Ampa and Grandma!

A Party for Parker

My really great friend Shawna decided to throw a birthday party for Parker, she felt bad that he didn't get one. She set it up at Abby's and invited some family and friends. Lots of people came for our celebration, it was packed in there but we had a great time. We had some good food and got to visit with everyone. Daddy helped Parker open his gifts while the rest of the kids sat and watched (they were really good and actually stayed sitting there!) It was super sweet for her to do this, she is a wonderful friend....thank you Shawna for doing this for Parker!

Cake Time

My friend Jamie made Parker his cake for his party. She made him a super cute duck cake. The duck itself was chocolate cake and the bottom was a funfetti! She cut off the face of the duck for Parker to eat (when she did this the kids asked where the ducks blood was!!) he decided he didn't want to eat the cake, he just wanted to kiss it. So that is what he did a couple of times and then he was done with it! The cake was yummy and so cute, thank Jamie!

Party Hats

The kids all loved wearing the party hats at Parker's party! The only kid who really really didn't like wearing it was Parker, he threw a fit when we tried to put it on him :)

Digital Art Studio

At Parker's party Shawna gave Rayden a present too so she didn't feel left out. Shawna got her a Digital Art Studio. I was going to get the for Rayden for Christmas but never did. Rayden just loooooves playing with this and it keeps her occupied for a long long time. Her favorite part is when she brings up the huge color pallette, everytime she brings it up she goes "Whoa!" She enjoys coloring pictures and drawing on the Art Studio. Soon we will have to look at all the other features it has like arts and crafts, dot to dots, create a party and tons of other things!

Playing with Daddy

Parker and Daddy were having a lot of fun together the other night. Daddy was swinging Parker up into the air and then hanging him upside down too! A blast!

Being a Big Boy

Parker got some mashed potatoes at dinner and he ate them like a big boy with his own spoon. He did pretty good for awhile but soon gave up on the spoon, we will keep working on it.

Just Like Daddy

I was over at my parents house for breakfast and Parker was getting whiny because he was hungry. My dad put a John Wayne movie on the T.V. and Parker went over there and was just glued to it, just like his Daddy would be!! I actually had a hard time getting him to come in and eat once breakfast was done :)
